Safety First
This is what happens when you're not watching what you're doing.
Got hit by an APC 11x4 on an OS 40 La that was at idle.
Good thing it wasn't spinning any faster than that.
13 stitches.
And yes, it hurt.
A note from BEAR

I made a big mistake. I proped my 50cc engine with a 22in. prop before making sure the Cub was being held good and tight.
The engine started first flip and came after me. As I tried to get out of the way by reflex action I threw my hand back to
stop the model. As you can see it bit me good. The first two pics are in the Dr's office before surgery.
Prognosis was not good. Removal of entire pinky and tip of second finger. 3rd and 4th pic are post surgery.
Dr saved 3/4 of the pinky and only took the tip of the second finger. 3 hours of surgery.
It's been a couple of weeks and I'm healing, still alot of pain and alot of rehab once I'm healed up.
I've been flying for over 30 years and had become too relaxed with safety. Be careful. Fly Smater...Not Harder...Bear
